Walls at SSB to Undergo Water Mitigation Work Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 19
Summary of disruption: Water mitigation measures on the low concrete walls that support the glass panels at the Student Services Building (Building 121) will be initiated starting on Tuesday, Jan. 19. Contractor crews will perform the work on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mitigation is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Jan. 22.
Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to install a metal cap on top of the walls to help prevent water intrusion.
How does this affect me? Metal fabrication and installation may cause intermittent noise. Access to the SSB should not be impacted.
What do I need to do? Use caution when approaching an area where the contractor is working. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
