Preparations for Asphalt Paving of University Drive to Start on Thursday, Nov. 17

Summary of disruption: The grinding of University Drive in preparation for new asphalt will be performed on Thursday, Nov. 17 and Friday, Nov. 18. New asphalt will be laid on University Drive starting at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19. The pouring of asphalt is expected to be completed by 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One eastbound lane of University Drive will be accessible at all times during the grinding process and asphalt pour.

Reason for disruption: A new layer of asphalt will be laid on University Drive from Camphor Lane to Red Gum Lane.

How does this affect me? Expect delays and proceed with caution when driving through the work area. Grinding of University Drive will make the road rougher to drive.

What do I need to do? Follow the directions of traffic control personnel in the construction area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
