Biotechnology Building, CLA Classroom Section to Undergo Power Interruption on Friday, Nov. 4
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to the Biotechnology Building (Building 4) and the CLA Classroom section (Building 98C) on Friday, Nov. 4. Campus crews will be on standby to restore power.
The scheduled outage times in the buildings:
Friday, Nov. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Biotechnology Building
Friday, Nov. 4 from 10 p.m. to Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 a.m.
CLA Classroom section
Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.
How does this affect me? Avoid being in the buildings during the power interruption. Lights, HVAC systems and elevators will not be in service.
What do I need to do? Turn off your computer and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, Nov. 4. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
