Trenching Near Section of Eucalyptus Lane to Start on Wednesday, June 30

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will trench near a portion of Eucalyptus Lane starting on Wednesday, June 30. The trenching will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Steel plates will be placed over the work sites near the Student Services Building (Building 121) and the Water Treatment Plant (Building 27). The work is expected to be completed in mid-July.

Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.    

How does this affect me? Follow the instructions of flagmen when approaching the trenching sites. Construction and pedestrian signs will be posted.

What do I need to do? Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work areas. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
