Trenching Between Building 4 and Building 5 to Begin on Monday, March 8
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) project contractor will trench between the Biotechnology Building (Building 4) and the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences (Building 5) starting on Monday, March 8. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The site will be fenced off and work is expected to finish by late March. Pedestrian access to the buildings is available.
Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.
How does this affect me? Use detours to access alternate entrances to the buildings. Parking adjacent to the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences will be impacted. Use alternate parking.
What do I need to do? Pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
