Trees Next to Buildings 55 and 97 to Be Removed for Safety Concerns

Summary of disruption: Trees adjacent to two buildings will be removed starting on Friday, March 13, after a large tree near one of the buildings fell the previous day and damaged the Poly Trolley food truck. Two trees adjacent to the Campus Center (Building 97) and two trees next to the Foundation Administrative Offices (Building 55) will be removed as a safety precaution with more storms in the forecast. Tree removal will continue through the middle of next week.

Reason for disruption: Contractor crews will remove the trees adjacent to the two buildings and recycle and reuse the tree debris.

What do I need to do? Take precautions and use detours around the work areas near the two buildings. Please share this information with others in the buildings who may have not received this message.
