Engineering Consultants to Take Inventory of Traffic Signs on Campus Starting on Friday, May 13
Summary of disruption: Engineers from the transit firm V&A Inc. will conduct a campuswide traffic sign inventory and crosswalk assessments starting on Friday, May 13. The data collection will be conducted on weekdays and select weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the work is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, June 11. Engineers will be wearing safety vests and driving in marked vehicles with yellow strobe lights.
Reason for disruption: Allow consultants to perform data collection and crosswalk assessments along most of the roads on campus.
How does this affect me? The traffic sign assessments will not require road or lane closures.
What do I need to do? Drivers should exercise caution when driving next to engineers conducting sign and crosswalk assessments.
