Temporary Stage for Music Classes to Be Erected Starting on Monday, Aug. 23
Summary of Disruption: Crews will erect a temporary tent and stage for music classes near the new dining commons and residence halls starting on Monday, Aug. 23. The work is scheduled from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Tuesday, Aug. 24. The tent is made of flame retardant material and the stage will contain an ADA-compliant ramp.
Reason for Disruption: Allow the Music Department to hold classes and practices on the temporary stage.
How does this affect me? Access to the Centerpointe Dining Commons and the Sicomoro and Secoya residence halls is not expected to be impacted. Barricades will be erected in the lot and construction signs will be posted.
What do I need to do? Pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
