Emergency Water Line Repairs Expected to Cause Traffic Delays on Temple Avenue Between CPP and Mt. San Antonio College
Summary of disruption: Emergency repairs of a main water line are being performed along an approximate 1-mile stretch of Temple Avenue between Cal Poly Pomona and Mt. San Antonio College. The work is expected to cause temporary traffic delays. Construction crews will perform the work on weekdays from approximately 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from about 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the center median of Temple Avenue, which will be narrowed to one lane in each direction. The project is expected to be completed by Monday, Aug. 28.
Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews for Mt. San Antonio College to replace a 12-inch water main line that runs under Temple Avenue.
