Installation of Electrical Switch Pad Near Parking Lot J to Start on Wednesday, Jan. 27

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will begin installation of an electrical switch pad in green space near Parking Lot J and the College of Environmental Design (Building 7) starting on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work area will be fenced off and installation is expected to be completed by late February.  

Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.

How does this affect me? One crosswalk will be closed. Use detours to cross the street and get to nearby buildings.  

What do I need to do? Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
