Sidewalk on West Side of Bronco Student Center to Close for Trenching Beginning on Wednesday, June 30
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) project contractor will trench the sidewalk on the west side of the Bronco Student Center (Building 35) starting on Wednesday, June 30. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The trenching area will be barricaded and the work is expected to be completed by mid-August.
Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.
How does this affect me? Access to the sidewalk will be closed. Exits on the west side of the BSC will be obstructed. Other exits in the building are open.
What do I need to do? Use the sidewalk on the east side of the Bronco Student Center. Pedestrians and drivers of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
