Construction of Addition to Building 13 for Rocket Lab to Start on Monday, Feb. 8

Summary of Disruption: The construction of an addition to the south side of the Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13) for the Rocket Lab will start on Monday, Feb. 8. The work will be performed Monday through Saturday from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work site between Building 13 and the Army ROTC and Pre-College TRIO Programs will be fenced off. Access to the south entrance of Building 13 will be obstructed. The addition is scheduled to be completed by June 9.

Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to construct a 2,100-square-foot addition that will serve as a classroom and lab space.

How does this affect me? The work area will be fenced off and closed to pedestrians and campus vehicles.

What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to avoid approaching the work site. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
