Reclaimed Water Outage Forces Shutdown of Irrigation System in Ag Valley

Summary of disruption: A water main break has forced the shutdown of reclaimed water service to the irrigation system in Ag Valley. The outage affects areas adjacent to the Agricultural Unit (Building 30), Poultry Unit (Building 31), Beef Unit (Building 32), Feed Mill (Building 33), Meat Laboratory (Building 34), Swine Unit (Building 37) and the Sheep Unit (Building 38). Reclaimed water to the irrigation system is expected to be restored by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Reasons for disruption: Allow crews to repair a reclaimed water main that feeds the irrigation system.

How does this affect me? The Swine Unit may be affected by the reclaimed water outage. Restrooms, faucets and filling stations in those buildings are not expected to be impacted.
