Electrical Interruptions at Three Buildings Scheduled to Start on Monday, March 21

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to three buildings starting on Monday, March 21. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.

The times of the power interruption and affected buildings are:

Monday, March 21 from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Campus Center (Building 97)

Monday, March 21 starting at 4 a.m. until Tuesday, March 22 at 4 p.m.

Kellogg House Pomona (Building 112)

Guest House (Building 113)

Lower Reservoir

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.     

How does this affect me? Avoid being on campus during the power interruption.  

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, March 18. Please share this information with others in the buildings who may have not received this message.
