Electrical Interruptions in Seven Buildings Scheduled to Start on Friday, June 3
Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to four buildings starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, June 3. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.
The days and times of the power interruption and affected buildings are:
Friday, June 3 from 10 p.m. to Saturday, June 4 at 6 a.m.
Bronco Recreation Intramural Complex (Building 42)
Bronco Bookstore (Building 66)
English Language Institute (Buildings 86, 86A, 86B and 86C)
Friday, June 3 starting at 10 p.m. until Sunday, June 5 at 6 a.m.
Foundation Administrative Offices (Building 55)
Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to install electrical equipment that will be part of the new campus power system.
How does this affect me? Avoid being in the buildings during the power interruption.
What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, June 3. Please share this information with others in the buildings who may have not received this message.
