Trenching of Olive Lane Walk, Electrical Switch Installation to Start on Monday, Dec. 14
Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will install an electrical switch on the west side of the College of Engineering (Building 9) and trench along Olive Lane Walk starting on Monday, Dec. 14. Trenching and electrical switch installation will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The excavation site will be fenced off. The work is expected to be completed in mid-January 2021.
Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start trenching and installing the electrical switch.
How does this affect me? Parking is prohibited along Olive Lane Walk. Use detours to get around the work areas.
What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
