Manhole Installation Near College of Engineering to Begin on Friday, Oct. 30
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will begin installation of a manhole near the southwest corner of the College of Engineering (Building 9) starting on Friday, Oct. 30. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The site will be fenced off and installation is expected to be completed in early November.
Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing a manhole for the new electrical system.
How does this affect me? Access to the College of Engineering will not be impacted. The work area will be fenced off and construction and pedestrian detour signs will be posted.
What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
