60 Buildings to Undergo Routine Lead and Copper Sample Collection
Summary of Disruption: State-mandated water samples will be collected from 60 buildings starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, June 1, and concluding at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2. Please see the attached list to determine if your building is affected. On June 1, plumbing systems will be thoroughly flushed. Water samples will be collected on June 2.
Reason for Disruption: Lead and copper sampling is required by the state Division of Drinking Water.
How does this affect me? Water will not be turned off in the buildings, but designated plumbing fixtures where samples are to be collected will not be usable.
What do I need to do? If a plumbing fixture is not usable, use other fixtures in the building. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
