Summary of disruption: State-mandated annual fire alarm and sprinkler inspections and certification testing are scheduled in five buildings starting at 5 a.m. on Friday, July 29. Audible alarm testing will be conducted from 5 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and silent alarm tests will commence at 8 a.m. per building schedule (see below).
Testing times and the affected buildings are:

Center for Regenerative Studies (Building 209) beginning at 9 a.m.
College of Business Administration (Buildings 162, 163 and 164) starting at 1 p.m.
Reason for disruption: Comply with state laws and ensure that fire sprinklers, alarms and strobe lights are working properly.
How does this affect me? Audible alarm and strobe lights testing in the buildings is scheduled from 5 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Elevators will not be in service during the audible tests. Afterward, silent testing of alarm equipment and sprinklers will be conducted with minimal impact to occupants.
