Summary of disruption: State-mandated fire alarm inspections and testing are scheduled in 11 buildings starting on Monday, Oct. 25. The inspections and tests will occur on weekdays and are expected to be completed on Friday, Oct. 29.
The days and times for the fire alarm inspection and testing are subject to change:
Monday, Oct. 25
Rose Float Lab (Building 105) from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Interim Design Center (Buildings 89, 89A and 89B) from 3 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 26
Facilities Management (Building 81) from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Marriott Learning Center (Building 80) from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 27 and Thursday, Oct. 28
The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Buildings 79, 79A and 79B) from 2 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 29
University Office Building (Building 94) from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Laboratory Facility (Building 92) from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Reason for disruption: Comply with state laws and ensure that the fire alarm systems are working properly.
How does this affect me? Fire alarms and strobe lights will be activated during the inspections and testing.
