Fire Alarm Testing Scheduled in 15 Buildings Starting at 6 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16
Summary of disruption: State-mandated testing of new fire alarms in 15 buildings will begin on Thursday, Nov. 16. Audible alarms and strobe lights will be activated during tests. Fire alarms will be tested on silent mode after 7:30 a.m. Testing in each building is expected to conclude at about 10 a.m.

Reason for disruption: Comply with state laws and ensure that fire alarms and strobe lights are working properly.
How does this affect me? Horns and strobe lights may be activated during early morning testing. HVAC systems may temporarily shut down during testing.
