Installation of New Fiber Optic Cable Connections to Start on Monday, June 7
Summary of Disruption: New fiber optic cable connections to the underground conduit system will be installed starting on Monday, June 7. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The installation is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, June 10.
Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to make connections to the campus infrastructure.
How does this affect me? Access to portions of roads and pathways near the College of Letters Arts & Social Sciences (Building 5), Music Building (Building 24), Bronco Student Center (Building 35), Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13), Student Services Building (Building 121) and the CLA Tower (Building 98) could be limited for short durations.
What do I need to do? Use detours if a road or pathway is impeded. Pedestrians and drivers of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching work areas. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
