Testing of Elevators in Four Buildings Scheduled on Monday, Nov. 16
Summary of disruption: Contractor crews will perform fire alarm tests of elevators in Building 79 (Collins College of Hospitality Management), Building 80 (Marriott Learning Center), Building 106 (Parking Structure 1) and Building 109 (Police and Parking Services) on Monday, Nov. 16 starting at approximately 8 a.m. Testing is expected to be completed in the afternoon.
Reason for disruption: Allow crews to perform state-mandated annual testing of elevators in each campus building.
How does this affect me? Elevators will not be operational during testing. The HVAC system will undergo interruptions. Loud horns and flashing strobe lights may be triggered during tests.
What do I need to do? Use stairways in the buildings during testing. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
