Elevator Fire Alarm Safety Testing Scheduled in Four Buildings Starting on Tuesday, April 26
Summary of disruption: State-mandated fire alarm safety testing is scheduled in elevators at four academic buildings starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26 and on Thursday, April 28. The test duration of each elevator is expected to last two to three hours and the elevators will be out of service.
The buildings and test times are:
Tuesday, April 26 starting at 7 a.m.:
Science Laboratory (Building 3)
College of Environmental Design (Building 7)
Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13)
Thursday, April 28 starting at 7 a.m.:
The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Building 79B)
Reason for disruption: Comply with state laws and ensure that the elevator fire alarm systems are working properly.
