Delay in Manufacture of Parts Extends Renovation Work on Building One Elevator

Update on disruption: Parts manufacturing issues have caused a delay in the completion of renovation work on the elevator in Building One. The elevator has been out of service since April 19 as part of the campus elevator modernization program. The elevator is now expected to resume operations by Monday, Aug. 16.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to replace the elevator. The pandemic has caused a delay in the manufacture of needed elevator parts.

How does this affect me? Use stairways in Building One until the project is completed.
