Power Interruptions Scheduled in Four Buildings Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will briefly interrupt power to four buildings starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28. Campus crews will be on standby to restore power.
The scheduled outage times and buildings:
Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Art Department and Engineering Annex north side (Building 13)
Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon
Rose Float Lab (Building 105)
Facilities Planning & Management (Building 81 plus other buildings in FP&M)
Water Treatment Plant
Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.
How does this affect me? Avoid being in the buildings during the power interruption. Lights, HVAC systems and elevators will not be in service.
What do I need to do? Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
