Eastbound Connectors to 57 Freeway to Close for 60 Hours Starting Friday, June 26
A 60-hour weekend closure of the eastbound I-10 Freeway connector roads to the southbound and northbound 57 Freeway is scheduled on Friday, June 26, starting at 7 p.m. and running through 6 a.m. on Monday, June 29.
The closure will allow for pavement rehabilitation and is part of the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Project. The weekend shutdown includes the eastbound I-10 off-ramp to Kellogg Drive.
The connector work will include excavating cracked pavement, removing debris, compacting the soil and pouring new concrete to enhance road smoothness and safety for motorists.
Message signs noting detours will be posted for motorists. The closures are weather permitting and subject to change. Drivers are advised to check traffic conditions before leaving for their destinations.
