Duct Bank Installation Adjacent to College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences to Start on Monday, March 22
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will start installing an electrical duct bank adjacent to the College of Letters Arts & Social Sciences (Building 5) starting on Monday, March 22. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work area will be fenced off and installation is scheduled to be completed in mid-April. Entrances to the building will be accessible.
Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.
How does this affect me? Pathway access for pedestrians between buildings will remain open. Access to adjacent buildings will not be impacted.
What do I need to do? Use front entrance for emergency exit. Pedestrians and drivers of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
