Replacement of Concrete Walkways Adjacent to Two Buildings Will Begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 13

Summary of disruption: Contractor crews will replace concrete walkways and install a drainage system near two buildings starting on Monday, Jan. 13. The work will be performed from 6 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. The project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18.

The work sites are:

Walkway/patio to the southeast of the College of Agriculture (Building 2)

Walkway/patio to the northwest of the College of Environmental Design (Building 7)

Reason for disruption: Allow for the demolition of damaged pathways and the installation of new concrete walkways and a drainage system.

How does this affect me? Pedestrian and some campus vehicle flow will be re-routed. The work area will be coned off and walkways are subject to closure. A jackhammer used in demolition will produce loud intermittent noises.

What do I need to do? Use detours to get around the work areas. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
