Three Buildings at Collins College to Undergo Fire Alarm Tests on Friday, Aug. 28

Update on disruption: Fire alarm tests are scheduled in three buildings at The Collins College of Hospitality Management on Friday, Aug. 28. Testing will be held in Building 79A, Building 79B and Building 80 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Reason for disruption: Allow the university to conduct state-mandated annual testing of the fire alarm system in each building.

How does this affect me? Loud horns and flashing strobe lights will be activated in the buildings during testing. The HVAC system will undergo interruptions. Elevators will not be affected.

What do I need to do? Avoid being in the buildings during testing. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
