College of Science to Undergo Power Interruption Starting on Friday, Aug. 5

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to the College of Science (Building 8) starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5. The HVAC system and elevators will not be service. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.  

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the building during the power interruption.
