Fire Alarm Testing Set at College of Engineering Starting on Monday, Jan. 25
Summary of disruption: State-mandated fire alarm testing is scheduled in the College of Engineering (Building 9) on Monday, Jan. 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 26. Testing will occur from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Reason for disruption: Allow the university to conduct state-mandated annual testing of the fire alarm system in each campus building.
How does this affect me? Elevators will not be operational during testing. The HVAC system will undergo interruptions. Loud horns and flashing strobe lights may be triggered during tests.
What do I need to do? Use stairwells during testing. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
