CLA Tower and Registrar Project to Move Into Demolition Phase on Monday, May 23

Summary of disruption: Fencing around the CLA Tower demolition site will be extended on Monday, May 23 as the project moves into the hard demolition stage. The fencing will expand to include the Aratani Japanese Garden and to walkways near the CLA Tower. Signage will be placed directing pedestrians and drivers of campus around the site.

Reason for disruption: Allow the contractor to proceed to the hard demolition phase and to ensure the safety of the campus community.

How does this affect me? The walkway between the CLA Classroom and the former Registrar building will be shut down. The Japanese Garden also will be closed.

What do I need to do? Use caution when approaching the demolition site and follow directional signage. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
