Replacement of Roof at CLA Classroom Section to Commence at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23

Summary of disruption: Contractor crews will commence replacement of the roof at the University Office Building (Building 94) on Tuesday, July 23. The work is scheduled weekdays from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Roof replacement is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 16.

Reason for disruption: Allow for the demolition of the existing roof and the installation of a new covering.

How does this affect me? Vehicular and foot traffic around the building will be re-routed. A partial closure of Olive Lane and the sidewalk from University Drive to the end of the College of Education and Integrative Studies (Building 6) will occur during the roof replacement.

What do I need to do? Use detours to get around the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
