Section of Camphor Lane to Close for Trenching Starting on Wednesday, Jan. 27
Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will close a section of Camphor Lane near the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences (Building 5) and the Campus Center (Building 97) starting on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The site will be fenced off and work is expected to finish in late-February. Access to the rear of the buildings will be impacted.
Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.
How does this affect me? Access to parking stalls near the Music Building will be closed. Emergency vehicle access will be allowed.
What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
