Power Shutdown at Darlene May Gymnasium to Start at 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28

Summary of disruption: The electrical supply to Darlene May Gymnasium (Building 41) will be shut down starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. Power is expected to be restored by 8 a.m.

Reason for disruption: Allow electrical crews to connect new wiring for a transformer that was replaced.

How does this affect me? Lights, electrical outlets, fire alarms and the HVAC system will be out of service during the shutdown.

What do I need to do? Log off computers and turn off any electrical equipment before leaving offices on Thursday, Feb. 27. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
