Trenching for Installation of Accent Lighting at University Plaza to Start on Monday, Dec. 16

Summary of disruption: Trenches will be dug around University Plaza (Building 26) starting on Monday, Dec. 16 in the first phase of a project to install accent lighting. Crews will perform the work on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The trenching (marked in red outline on the above map) is expected to be completed by Friday, Dec. 20.

How does this affect me? Building occupants and users should use west entrance of University Plaza that faces the Bronco Student Center (Building 35). Barricades will be set up around the trenching area. When a section of trench is dug, electrical conduits will be installed and the trench backfilled.

What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians should avoid traveling near the trenching sites. Please share this information with others who have not received this message.
