Fire Alarm Testing Set for Buildings 1 and 2 Starting on Thursday, Jan. 16
Summary of disruption: Annual testing of fire alarms in Building 1 and the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture (Building 2) will start on Thursday, Jan. 16. Loud horns and strobe lights will be activated for five minutes during the tests.
Building 1: Testing will occur on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 6:30 to 7 a.m.
Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture: Alarm testing is scheduled on Friday, Jan. 17, from 6:30 to 7 a.m.
Reason for disruption: Allow the university to conduct state-mandated annual testing of the fire alarm system in each building.
How does this affect me? Loud horns and flashing strobe lights will be activated during the start of testing. Silent testing of the system also will be conducted.
What do I need to do? Avoid being in the buildings during testing. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
