Electrical Outage in North Side of Art Department and Engineering Annex to Start on Friday, May 27

Summary of disruption: The north section of the Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13) will undergo a power outage starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 27. The outage is expected to last until 5 a.m. on Monday, May 30. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.

Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to install electrical equipment that will be part of the new campus power system.    

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the north side of the building during the power outage.

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, May 27. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
