Sidewalk in Front of Building One to Close for Trenching Starting on Tuesday, Feb. 9

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will close the sidewalk and green space in front of Building One for trenching starting on Tuesday, Feb. 9. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The site will be fenced off and work is expected to be completed by late February. ADA parking spaces at the front of the building will be relocated to the rear parking lot.

Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.    

How does this affect me? Access to Building One and the parking lot will not be impacted. One crosswalk will be closed. Follow detour to alternate crosswalk.

What do I need to do? Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
