Three Buildings to Undergo Brief Power Interruption at 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 9

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to three buildings from approximately 6 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 9.  Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.

The affected buildings are:

Building One

College of Engineering (Building 9)

Drama Department/Theatre (Building 25)

Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to switch the buildings to another electrical feeder.    

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the buildings during the power outage.

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers, and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Wednesday, June 8. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
