Asphalt Sealing for Two Roads Scheduled on Tuesday, March 10

Summary of Disruption: A coat of asphalt sealant will be applied on two recently repaired roads on Tuesday, March 10 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Asphalt sealing will occur at:

Mansion Lane: Vehicle traffic will not be allowed on March 10 at the upper section of the road leading to Kellogg House (Building 112) for several hours. Portions of the road starting at University Drive also will receive a coat of sealant. Limited vehicle traffic will be allowed on the lower section of Mansion Lane. (See map for repair areas marked in red.)

Cypress Lane: A section of the road in front of Police and Parking Services (Building 109) and adjacent to Parking Lot F5 will receive a sealant coating on March 10. Vehicle traffic and parking access could be limited by the work.

Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to apply a coat of asphalt sealant.

How does this affect me? Vehicle traffic may be blocked or limited on Mansion Lane. Parking spaces on the lower portion of Mansion Lane and adjacent to Cypress Lane could be obstructed. Parking Lot A will remain open.

What do I need to do? Freshly coated areas will be coned off to allow the sealant to dry. Do not drive through any coned-off areas. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
