Month-Long Asphalt Repair Project to Start on Monday, July 20

Summary of Disruption: Sections of asphalt near Building 23 (Aliso Residence Hall), Building 20 (Encinitas Residence Hall) and Building 21 (Montecito Residence Hall) will undergo repairs starting on Monday, July 20. Repair work will be conducted weekdays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Maps of repair sites are attached.)

Building 23: Road work near the structure is scheduled from Monday, July 20, to Monday, Aug. 10.

Buildings 20 and 21: Asphalt repairs adjacent to the buildings will be performed from Monday, Aug. 10 to Friday, Aug. 21.

Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to perform asphalt repairs on sections of the roads.

How does this affect me? University Drive will remain open to traffic. The street may be blocked or have limited access in the construction zones. Construction equipment and trucks will travel on University Drive.

What do I need to do? Use caution when approaching the repair sites. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
