Asbestos Abatement in Men’s Locker Room at Darlene May Gym to Begin on Thursday, Dec. 3

Summary of disruption: Asbestos abatement in the men’s locker room at Darlene May Gym (Building 41) will begin on Thursday, Dec. 3. Crews will perform the work on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. 

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to remove asbestos from the men’s locker room. The abatement work will be conducted in accordance with state safety guidelines.

How does this affect me? Access to the locker room will not be available.

What do I need to do? Avoid being in the building during abatement work. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
