28 Buildings to Undergo Fire Sprinkler Inspections Starting on Monday, July 26

Summary of disruption: State-mandated fire sprinkler inspections are scheduled in 28 buildings starting on Monday, July 26. The inspections will occur on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are expected to be completed on Friday, July 30.

Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture (Building 2), Science Laboratory (Building 3), Biotechnology Building (Building 4), College of Science (Building 8), College of Engineering (Building 9), University Library (Building 15).

July 27

University Library (Building 15), Roundhouse (Building 16), Engineering Laboratories (Building 17), Music Building (Building 24), Drama Department/Theatre (Building 25).

July 28

University Plaza (Building 26), W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center (Building 29), Darlene May Gymnasium (Building 41), Kellogg Arena (Building 43), Agricultural Engineering (Building 45), The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Building 79).

July 29

The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Building 80), Facilities Management Warehouse (Building 82),

Interim Design Center (Building 89, Building 89A and Building 89B)

July 30

Laboratory Facility (Building 92), University Office Building (Building 94), Paint Shop (Building 96), CLA (Building 98), Rose Float Lab (Building 105), Parking Structure 1 (Building 106).

Reason for disruption: Comply with state laws and ensure that fire sprinklers are working properly.

How does this affect me? Fire alarms and strobe lights could be triggered during the inspections.
