Power Outage to South Side of Art Department and Engineering Annex to Start at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6

Summary of disruption: The south section of the Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13) will undergo a power outage starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6. The outage will last until 5 a.m. on Monday, May 9. The power interruption will not impact the operation of the wind tunnel. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.

Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to install main electrical gear that will be part of the new campus power system.    

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the south side of the building during the power outage.

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, May 6. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
