Michele Gendreau is the director of Food & Beverage for the Experience & Integration team of Disney Parks Experiences & Products. In this role, Michele is responsible for the strategic development, revenue growth and standards integration for the 150+ Food & Beverage locations within the two theme parks, three resort hotels and the Downtown Disney district.Prior to this role, Michele was the general manager of Food & Beverage and Merchandise for Disney California Adventure Park. In this role, Michele was responsible for the guest and cast experience in all food and beverage locations, as well as all retail operations.
With over 40 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, Michele began her Disney career in 2006, as the director of Concept and Product Development for Walt Disney Park & Resorts. She managed the creative development of novelties, synergy and packaging products for the Food & Beverage division and integrated new standards throughout the 450 various restaurants at both the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.
Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Michele worked for Spartan Shops, Inc. at San Jose State University where she held the position of director of Dining Services, overseeing residential dining, catering, vending, and 13 retail restaurants servicing more than 29,000 students, faculty and staff on campus. In addition, Michele has served as the manager, Dining Services at University of Southern California.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is the recent past chair of the Board of Advisors for the Collins College of Hospitality Management, Cal Poly Pomona. She is also a board member on the Philanthropic Foundation for Cal Poly Pomona.
