Eva Wassermann is a Managing Director at GEM Realty Capital, a private equity firm focused on investments in the real estate industry where she focuses on GEM’s lodging portfolio. Ms. Wassermann has been actively involved in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining GEM, Ms. Wassermann was Principal of State Parkway Advisory, an investment and consulting firm. She was involved in analyzing numerous portfolio acquisitions as well as providing asset management services to various portfolios exceeding $1.5 billion in value. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Managed Development for Hilton Hotels where she was responsible for securing and negotiating management contracts for their full-service brands with a particular focus on convention hotels utilizing private/public financing. Ms. Wassermann has also held senior management roles with Strategic Hotel Capital, the Yarmouth Group, Kenneth Leventhal & Co., and Laventhol & Horwath. Ms. Wassermann serves on the Advisory Board for The Collins College of Hospitality Management where she received her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Hospitality Management. She also served on the President’s National Development Council for Cal Poly Pomona and served as the Vice-Chair, Foundation Giving, for Cal Poly Pomona’s Comprehensive Campaign.
