Food and Beverage Professionals Bake Pies for Thanksgiving

Students of The Collins College of Hospitality Management prepared for the Thanksgiving break with some delightful treats.
Members of Food and Beverage Professionals (FBP), a student club at CCHM, prepared the pumpkin and custard pies for their “Pie Palooza” fundraiser.
Five members volunteered to make and package 45 pies.
FBP’s Director of Events, Emily Fedorchek, and Director of Communications, Sara Siu, prepared the fillings last week, and the remaining volunteers baked and packaged the pies. FBP members distributed orders this week and tabled at the Collins College to sell pies by the slice.
"I enjoyed volunteering with the FBP members and bonding over our love of baking,” said Reanna Chow, a member of FBP. “It was rewarding to see everyone so happy and excited for their pies, and I hope more there will be more volunteer opportunities like this in the future!"
