Portugal Meets Broncos for 10th Annual Cultural Tour

The Collins College 10th annual cultural tour took place in beautiful Portugal. This trip, led by Professor Margie Ferree Jones, started in the historical capital of Lisbon.
Here the group enjoyed multiple excursions including an evening sail on the Tagus, a food and wine walking tour, a cooking class or lunch in Cascais and an evening of Fado.
Then onto the country side in the Duoro Valley to visit Quinta do Vallado and Quinta do Panascal along with as stop to see the famous black pottery of Bisalhães and a ride on the Rabelo boat.
Finishing in the fascinating city of Porto, the group enjoyed a tour of the city sites and a visit to Vila Nova de Gaia.
The next culture tour will be led by Dr. Bob Small in Normandy and scheduled for October 2018.
